Our Vision
Our vision is to further the Kingdom of Heaven by
providing a safe sanctuary where all pretences can be dropped, hearts can open,
and God can move. We offer ministry to others out of our own healing and
maturity in the Lord. We embrace all those who seek God and want
to grow spiritually in the likeness and character of Jesus. We accept people as they are, not as we would have them to
be. We offer the love of Christ to all. When people enter Still Life
Retreat, they feel they've come home. This is our vision.

-
Our environment is home-like with
excellent home-made food
-
Our agenda is flexible
according to your needs.
-
One-on-one ministry is a gift
-
Our ministry is Holy-Spirit Led
We base our ministry on Luke 4:18-19
"The Spirit of the Lord is on me, because he has anointed me to
preach good news to the poor. He has sent me to proclaim freedom for the
prisoners and recovery of sight for the blind, to release the oppressed, to
proclaim the year of the Lord's favor."

Statement of Faith
|
We believe the Holy Bible, both old and new
testament, is the infallible Word of God.
We believe
God is all powerful, omnipotent, omnipresent and sovereign.
We believe Jesus, whose Hebrew name is Yahushua, is the Son of God; that
He sacrificed himself for the sin of the world and rose again so that
through Him, we could return to God and enter the Kingdom of Heaven.
We believe that repentance from sin precedes being born-again in
the Spirit.
We believe in full-emersion water baptism.
We believe in the baptism of the Holy Spirit, the power of God given to
true believers to accomplish His will in us and on the earth.
We believe the process of sanctification is necessary to mature into the
fullness of Christ Jesus.
We believe the fear of God is the beginning of wisdom. |
